Even before being born, babies listen to music. The sensation of rocking in a peaceful atmosphere, gives a feeling of security and peace. Lullabies written in compound meter are present all around the world. In this session we will explore with our bodies and voices the fine musicality present in the phrasing, melodic contour, and rhythmic design of a beautiful Mexican Christmas lullaby.
