"What if vocal improvisation in classical music were a game?"

A VDM Masterclass with Sylvie Morgenegg (Switzerland)

This is a Dalcroze solfege course in which participants will experience a range of fun and varied activities designed to develop their own abilities to improvise vocal melodies.

I'm going to suggest that you follow the same path as I've taken my own students through the step-by-step instructions with me. There will also be descriptions of what else we could do if we were taking the class in person.

We will immerse ourselves in the color of 4 voice chords by actively listening to a short composition, and close our musical moment by improvising on it.

All musical material from the lesson will be passed on to participants at the end of the lesson.
