Wednesday, June 20 - Day 3!

Vamos!!!
Today we traveled to Mexico!
We started our day with working on our sketchbook and explored the life of Frida Kahlo,  learning how to describe basic shapes in Spanish.

We talked about what a Mixed Media piece consists of and what a color resist is, then headed to the tables to start creating.

Each "little traveler" was able to make a mixed media piece using watercolor, oil pastels, and pattern paper. We love getting to travel so much in camp this week. Where do you think we'll go tomorrow?
