Rhythmic Solfège I-V
Ages 6-9 The Dalcroze Rhythmic- Solfège sequence provides all of the necessary building blocks to achieve success with any instrument. Rhythmic Solfège builds on the principles of learning music through movement with the addition of focused musical study on keyboard percussion; the end goal of the sequence is comprehensive musicianship! This is a process-oriented program using the Dalcrozian tenants of joy, discovery and experiential education as its foundation, and delving into musical subjects and literature. Assignments on a keyboard percussion instrument and homework are a regular part of the curriculum. A commitment from both parent and child to practice together at least 10 minutes each day, 5 days each week is expected. We are grateful to The Dalcroze School of the Rockies for providing their curriculum for all of our Rhythmic Solfège classes. www.dalcrozeschooloftherockies.com Suzuki Piano: Instrumental Add- On
Ages 6-9 Suzuki Piano is an add-on to the Rhythmic Solfège Sequence, where students apply the theory and musicality they're learning in Rhythmic Solfège to learning piano! Suzuki Piano I students must be concurrently enrolled in Rhythmic Solfège I or II. BAMM (Biology | Art | Music in Motion)
