Join us for a special week of afternoon offerings June 15-19! Come for the whole week or choose which days interest you. Each class runs 1-1:45pm MDT via Zoom.
Monday 6/15: Music in Motion - Ages 4-8. Move, dance, explore, learn! Music in Motion is a movement-based music curriculum introducing concepts like rhythm, melody, and harmony in a social and imaginative way. Students embody music joyfully through creative games, improvisation, and expression using the Dalcrozian tenants of joy, discovery, and experiential education. Music in Motion is focused not only on vivid musical foundations, but also supports children's emotional, intellectual, and physical development.
Tuesday 6/16: Biology and Art - Are your kids full of energy and curious about the world around them? Are "What's that?' and "Why?' the most common questions you hear? Help them explore and learn with Biology and Art using science experiments, activities, and art. Integral Steps' unique curriculum, developed by a team of passionate education- and child-development specialists, makes learning fun!
Wednesday 6/17: Piano Moves - Learn foundational music and movement skills through rhythm, improvisation, and tonal recognition in a fun, Suzuki- and Dalcroze-inspired group piano class! Piano Moves gives your average group piano lessons an integrative movement twist! Using familiar songs, fun dances and partner work, this small class students provides the foundation for excellent music education. Students learn rhythmic and tonal patterns, how to read music, and improvisation and composition skills.
Thursday 6/18: Spanish and Art - Is your child inquisitive about the world around them? Ages 4-8. Inspire them with a rich combination of Spanish through Art integrating language learning through art using a storytime format and simple arts & crafts.
Friday 6/19: Yoga and Music - With breathing exercises, physical postures, relaxation, and live music, children learn to connect their body, mind, and breath together. We will focus on creating a grounding and calm environment for relaxation and mindful listening. Students leave the class with improved concentration and coordination, increased confidence and self esteem, reduced stress and anxiety, and physical and mental strength and flexibility.
$35 for the week or $8 per day
