"Binary and Ternary!"
A VDM Masterclass with Anne-Gabrielle Chatoux (France)
In this workshop, we'll be working on the sensation of binary and ternary division, first with the idea of beat=beat and then with the idea of eighth note=eighth note.
Through a variety of physical and vocal exercises, we will explore this subject and then learn a song about binary-ternary superposition. We will explore the music in sound and in space.
All participants should bring a tennis ball and be ready to play.
