Anne-Claire Rey-Bellet (Switzerland) "Dalcroze Essentials: Working With Older People"
"Dalcroze Essentials: Working With Older People"
A three-session short course with Anne-Claire Rey-Bellet (Switzerland)
Join Anne-Claire Rey-Bellet in our next Dalcroze Essentials series to expand your understanding of working with older adults.
In this short course, you’ll explore music and movement exercises to discover how Dalcroze Eurhythmics can support balance, coordination, confidence, social connection, and cognitive health in later life.
Learn practical adaptations of classic Dalcroze activities for seated work and limited mobility, along with examples of warm-ups and improvised/recorded musical ideas you can use for these exercises.
You’ll leave with clear strategies to tailor your Dalcroze practice to older adults and create safe, engaging, and impactful sessions for seasoned movers.
In session 1, there are 8 short videos of a class for seniors (20 minutes in total) where, due to Switzerland's privacy restrictions, the screen is grayed out. Anne-Claire discusses the missing content to help the attendees who are watching the archive video understand what they cannot see. Sessions 2 and 3 do not include any gray screens. ALL AUDIO IS INCLUDED, it is only the video of protected attendees that is grayed out.
