We are intensely proud of our students and all that they accomplish.
We are honored by the foundations we have made in our communities.
And we want to celebrate the friendships we have fostered.

Perform-A-Thon Concert and Practice Challenge

Thank you for such an amazing Perform-A-Thon!
We are so touched by your generosity and are so happy to say that we exceeded our $1000 goal and raised $1466 in scholarships. We set a goal of raising enough to fund 2 full-year scholarships, and instead we have enough to fund almost 3 full-year scholarships. Wow! Your support and belief in the Integral Steps mission means so much. Thank you!
We are so proud of the students and families who shared their musical gifts with us, and so grateful to our community for supporting and cheering on their work!
If you or your family member missed a portion of the program and would like to view it, please let us know by responding to this email. We'll send you an unlisted video link.

Multiverse Concert: Reef Music
The plight of coral reefs around the world is often overlooked - these beautiful ecosystems exist far from our everyday environments, but are suffering nonetheless from our continued use of fossil fuels.
We partnered with Multiverse to present a Reef Music concert. See more here. |
Workshops at Louisville Recreation Center
Held at the Louisville Rec Center Arboretum, Integral Steps hosted fun, creative and dynamic outdoor group events whilst keeping socially distanced and sanitized for safety. Students explored hands-on science experiments and created multimedia art projects, moved to live music or flowed in yoga!

Music Connects Us - Global Concert Exchange! November 2019
We joined musicians across the globe for a concert exchange taking place on the same day in many places!
Music Connects Us weaves together a multi-continental community of local musicians and music lovers. It is a collaboration between student and professional musicians from many countries to present an annual Global Concert Exchange. These events took place on the same date and time in multiple time zones, creating connections across continents and cultures. Performers exchanged videos with each other and their communities, sharing about the music they love to play and asking each other about their daily lives in other places. Concerts occurred in Louisville, Colorado; Cambridge, Massachusetts; and Hofheim; Germany. The Colorado portion of this concert featured students of Emma Shubin. *This concert was made possible by a grant from the Louisville Cultural Council Art Program. |

Multiverse Series Somerville - November 2019
A discovery day of workshops and music with a preview of the NASA-Smithsonian Spectrum Lab!
Integral steps had an amazing time working with Multiverse Concert Series for Exoplanetary! The day started with a children's workshop where we used music, movement, and art to explore the universe. Then, we had the Spectrum Lab Exclusive Preview with Dr Roy Gould, where we learned how to use Harvard-Smithsonian's new exoplanet exploration tool. The afternoon wrapped up with an inspiring concert featuring the Marvento Duo, Emma Shubin and sonifications of exoplanet light spectra by Multiverse resident composer, David Ibbett! What a weekend! |
