A VDM Masterclass
Even before being born, babies listen to music. The sensation of rocking in a peaceful atmosphere, gives a feeling of security and peace. Lullabies written in compound meter are present all around the world. In this session we will explore with our bodies and voices the fine musicality present in the phrasing, melodic contour, and rhythmic design of a beautiful Mexican Christmas lullaby.
Masterclass #8 was originally given on November 21/22, 2020.
Eurhythmics + Solfège: swinging, movement warmup, compound meter (6/8) rhythms and improvisation, Mexican lullabies
